Started off the new year doing baby boy newborn pictures for this adorable munchkin. What a cutie! I was looking forward to seeing this family in my Fort Worth photography studio again since I photographed big brother as a newborn too.
Rainbow Baby Boy
This little man was a rainbow baby. That’s always such a tender thing for parents. So many emotions, and often people want to honor their little one who passed at the same time they celebrate the long-anticipated arrival of the newest member of the family. Rainbows are a perfect way to do this. But sometimes people are hesitant to try this with baby boy newborn pictures, since rainbows tend to be more of a girly thing in Western culture. It doesn’t have to be that way though! We used earthier tones for our rainbow so that it still fit with the feel of our session. A lot of times it just takes a little creativity and adjustment to make an idea work. I’m so glad this family decided to use rainbows in their little guy’s session–such a beautiful way to remember a loss.
Brothers
In addition to all the classic newborn shots, we also decided to get some pictures of baby boy and big brother together. I love doing sibling photos! Aren’t these two brothers so cute with each other?
