I love photographing babies, and twin newborn photography provides twice the fun–and twice the challenge! Loved having these two little munchkins in my Fort Worth photography studio over the summer. This cute little brother and sister pair made my day–and I hope they make yours too!
Twin Newborn Pictures
I always have so much fun when I’m photographing twins. With two babies I get to try different poses and I always like to do some snuggle shots as well. I just put the two of them side by side and let them snuggle together. It’s adorable and sweet to see that special bond that twins have with each other. A lot of times they’re much happier together. And I definitely like to keep my little clients happy!
Picking out a color scheme for twins is fun as well. Neutral colors are a great option, especially when, as in this situation, you have a boy and a girl. We did some classic black and white pictures, and went with green and yellow for the majority of our baby pictures. We also did a few photos of them side by side in the more traditional “blue for boys and pink for girls” outfits. So cute!
Another option to customize your photo session is composite shots. With these, I use my trusty editing tools to layer one shot on top of another, creating an image that wouldn’t be possible otherwise. As you can see, composites allow you to get some super adorable and whimsical pics, like the one of the twins “sitting” together on a bench.
