I always love doing newborn portraits–especially when baby is extra smiley! After doing their maternity photos, it was a pleasure to have this family in my Weatherford, Texas studio with their new little man. I hope you enjoy looking through the pictures of this cutie as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Newborn Portraits–Big Smiles
This little boy was a very happy baby and gave me tons of smiles. I loved his expressive little face and how totally content he was the whole time. He was a great little sleeper, which always makes things easy–even gave me a great big yawn at one point! Baby faces are so cute, and I love capturing them. At this point, little ones don’t have a ton of control over their face and are just experimenting with all those facial muscles. It results in some pretty adorable expressions.
Classic Colors
We chose blues and light, almost creamy browns for these newborn portraits. Blue is always a classic for little boys, and goes great with neutrals like brown, white, and gray. I always want my little clients to be comfy during their photography session, so I have lots of soft blankets and props. We used some fuzzy textures in this session, just for fun.
