Feel the Love!
Some people celebrate Valentine’s Day by buying flowers and chocolate. Me? I take newborn photos! What better way to celebrate love, right?
This little sweetheart came to my studio on February 14th so we could do newborn pictures. She was so precious! I had had another little girl in the studio two days before and since it was so close to Valentine’s Day we did a similar theme. I’m loving all the flowers and shades of pink!
Poses for Newborn Photos
This baby enjoyed being swaddled, but she also did great with other poses, which always makes it fun. The froggy pose is an especially popular one for newborn photos. (It’s a little more complex than some of the others, so make sure your newborn photographer is experienced in infant posing and safety before requesting it.) As well as being a little more difficult, it kind of depends on baby’s mood as to whether you’re able to do it. Baby needs to be nice and sleepy for the froggy pose to be successful. Lucky for us, this little girl was a good sleeper and we were able to get exactly the poses we wanted.
