This post has two purposes. One of those purposes is to show you the most adorable little newborn that I had in my old studio a few weeks back. Her and her parents were up here visiting with her family and I was lucky enough to be able to capture her newborn goodness for them while they were here. She was just perfect for her session and had the most beautiful little face. Everything about her was just perfect! I was also excited because her session was right before Easter, which meant that I got to bust out my bunny hat that I only use once or twice a year, if I remember. Some years I will completely forget to use it, but this year I remembered and she made it look perfect! I was also able to use the most adorable little newborn Easter quilt. Girly props are just so fun!
The second purpose of this post is to share the second to last newborn session that took place in my old studio, my home for over two years. She came in on a Thursday and I officially moved everything out of my studio two days later. So, her session is kind of emotional for me. Yes, I moved into a brand new studio that is perfect. I was able to have a say in the design, the decorating, everything and I love it so much, but my old studio on Main will always be special to me. I moved into that studio back when I was still a full time teacher and photography was just a side job. I did all my newborn sessions in the evenings after school. I haven’t stopped to count up how many sessions took place in that building, but I would estimate it to be over 500 in the time I was there. I still remember my first newborn session that I did in that studio, and thanks to this sweet girl, I will always remember my last session in there as well. Lucky for me, she slept like a dream and helped make one of my last sessions a good one!
